POLICIES

REQUIREMENTS TO HIRE:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve any and all services and rental equipment for the requested date and time. The remaining balance is due by two (2) full weeks prior to our initiation of setup for your event. DJ Eddie Entertainment is not responsible for postponement of setup due to payment delays.

Banquet facilities & residential districts must provide safe and convenient loading and unloading for all equipment within a one hundred (100) feet of event setup location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our DJ’s are only responsible to provide fun and enjoyment through the use of music. In the event of unexpected external influences that require our DJ(s) to turn the volume below your desired level, the client understands that DJ Eddie Entertainment is not at fault. External influences may include but are not limited too, quiet zones, police interruption, guest complaints, power loss or interference, personal discretion of DJ Eddie Entertainment personnel, etc. If the host requests that the DJ discontinue further play, there will be no reimbursement for the remaining time originally booked.

In the unfortunate and unlikely event that a DJ Eddie Entertainment vendor, entertainer or prop fails to appear at an event at the specified time and/or date, DJ Eddie Entertainment is responsible for reimbursing the client the full amount of money initially agreed upon for that particular service only.

Client releases DJ Eddie Entertainment from all liability and responsibility for damaged real or personal property affiliated with the event incurred by persons or properties other than DJ Eddie Entertainment personnel and/ or equipments. Damages include but are not limited to, injury to guests & damage to the venue at the event location before, during, and after the event.

DJ Eddie Entertainment is not liable for any injuries incurred to persons from their intentional or negligent physical contact with any props, employees or equipments. Guests are not allowed to use or move equipment. Any damage(s) incurred to our props, employees, equipments or transportation vehicle by guests will be the financial responsibility of the host for the repair or replacement of damaged equipment or injuries.

For outdoor equipment setups, host is responsible to provide shade from sunlight or coverage from rain for equipments & personnel. Any damages caused by excessive weather conditions to any DJ Eddie Entertainment equipments are the financial responsibility of the host for the repair or replacement of damaged equipment.

Client is responsible for obtaining all licenses and permits required by banquet facility and/or city. This can include volume permits, loading & unloading permits, & parking for the equipment transportation vehicle.

Client is responsible for ensuring that the venue they have chosen has the required power sources for the services the client has hired. Minimum power requirement is two (2) twenty (20) amp circuits within fifty (50) feet to equipment setup area. DJ Eddie Entertainment will specify if more power is needed for the clients booked services.

Certain lighting has strobe or strobe like patterns that may have harmful side effects to people with certain medical conditions. We are disclosing that laser light manufacturers warn that laser rays can be harmful to the eye. DJ Eddie Entertainment is not liable in any case of harm inflicted upon people or persons that is the cause of company lighting or sound.

Client can notify DJ Eddie Entertainment if client requests not to have certain lighting used.

RENTALS, DELIVERY & TRAVEL:

All rented items become the sole responsibility of the renter to ensure safe handling and care once delivered or picked up. Everything must be returned in working condition, clean, and undamaged by 5:00 pm the next business day. DJ Eddie Entertainment has thirty (30) days from the date of return to report any damages or problems to the renter for reimbursement of damaged equipment. Prices of items rented out are disclosed upon request.

In the event that DJ Eddie Entertainment cannot provide delivery and/or pick-up of rented items, and/or client refuses to pay delivery fee, pick-up and return delivery is solely the responsibility of the renter.

DJ Eddie Entertainment is a company based out of Los Angeles County in California. We are pleased to serve Southern California. However, certain event locations may still require mileage fees that are calculated based on travel distance. Clients will be notified ahead of time of such costs.

PAYMENT:
All services require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the date and time of your event. The remaining balance is due by two (2) full weeks prior to the initiation of setup for your event. Payments can be made anytime before this date.

Overtime and any additional fees incurred during the course of your event are due at the end of your event, and are payable to the event leader or manager.

All payments are made to DJ Eddie Entertainment. We accept cash, check, or credit cards (Visa & MasterCard only) as methods of payment. All transactions are at the discretion of DJ Eddie Entertainment.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
All cancellations or changes must be made no less than seven (7) days prior to the event date.

If you decide to cancel or change a product or service that you have already booked within a package, after the signing of this policy sheet, you must replace it with another product or service that is of equal or greater value. Reimbursements and refunds will not be given, even before payment is fulfilled.

All deposits are non-refundable. However, deposits may be used for another event date that is within one (1) calendar year of the original event date in consideration that the service you requested is available. Deposits are transferable to third parties.

If a dispute arises between me and DJ EDDIE ENTERTAINMENT, I agree to give up my right to have any such dispute decided in a court of law and my right to a jury trial. I agree that such dispute shall be resolved first by attempting non-binding mediation and, if unresolved, by binding arbitration as provided by California law.
