By hiring DJ Eddie Entertainment or purchasing products and services through this website, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions

Requirements for Hire

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve any and all services and rental equipment for the requested time and date. The remaining balance is due by one (1) full week prior to your scheduled event date. DJ Eddie Entertainment is not responsible for setup delays due to nonpayment.
  • Banquet facilities & residential districts must provide safe and convenient loading and unloading space for all delivered equipment within two hundred (200) feet of event setup space.

Responsibilities

  • Our DJ’s are responsible to provide fun and enjoyment through the use of amplified music. Client understands that in the event that any unexpected influences restrict our DJ’s to perform at full capacity, DJ Eddie Entertainment is not at fault and does not reimburse Client for unused or misused entertainment time. Unexpected influences may include but are not limited too, quiet zones, police interruption, guest complaints, power loss and interference, or the personal discretion of DJ Eddie Entertainment personnel for the betterment of the event. If the host requests that the DJ discontinue further play, there will be no reimbursement for the remaining time originally booked.
  • In the unfortunate and unlikely event that a DJ Eddie Entertainment vendor, entertainer or prop fails to appear at an event at the specified time and/or date, or a prop or piece of equipment fails to work properly, DJ Eddie Entertainment is responsible for reimbursing the Client the full amount, or prorated amount, of money written in the Clients invoice for that particular service only.
  • Client releases DJ Eddie Entertainment from all liability and responsibility for damaged real or personal property affiliated with the event incurred by persons or properties other than DJ Eddie Entertainment personnel and/ or equipment. Damages include but are not limited to, injury to guests & damage to the venue at the event location before, during, and after the event.
  • DJ Eddie Entertainment is not liable for any injuries incurred to persons at an event from their intentional or negligent physical contact with any DJ Eddie Entertainment props, employees or equipment. Guests are not allowed to use or move equipment. Any damage(s) incurred to our props, employees, equipments or transportation vehicle by guests will be the financial responsibility of the Client for the repair or replacement of damaged equipment and reimbursement of medical costs.
  • For outdoor events, Client is responsible to provide shade from sunlight or coverage from rain for all of DJ Eddie Entertainment’s equipment. Any damage made to DJ Eddie Entertainment equipment caused by weather conditions is the financial responsibility of the Client for the repair or replacement of damaged equipment made at DJ Eddie Entertainment’s discretion.
  • Client is responsible for obtaining any and all necessary licenses and permits required by the banquet facility and/or city. This can include noise permits, loading & unloading permits, & parking for DJ Eddie Entertainment vehicles.
  • Client is responsible for ensuring that the venue they have chosen has the required power sources for the services the client has hired. The minimum power requirement is two (2) twenty (20) amp circuits within fifty (50) feet to equipment setup area. DJ Eddie Entertainment will notify Client if more power is needed for the reserved services when applicable.
  • Certain lighting has strobe or strobe like patterns that may have harmful side effects to people with certain medical conditions. DJ Eddie Entertainment is disclosing that laser light manufacturers warn that laser rays can be harmful to the eye. DJ Eddie Entertainment is not liable for any harm inflicted upon guests that is caused by DJ Eddie Entertainment’s lighting or sound. Client is responsible for notifying DJ Eddie Entertainment in the event that they request not to have certain lights used.

Travel

  • DJ Eddie Entertainment is a company based out of Los Angeles, California. We are pleased to serve the Southern California areas. Travel to certain cities may require travel fees which can include hospitality stays. Client will be notified ahead of time of such costs.
  • Destination events will require Client to pay for all expenses related to the travel of DJ Eddie Entertainment personnel, in addition to the charges of services booked.

Payment

  • All services require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the date and time of your event. The remaining balance is due by one (1) full week prior to your event. Payments can be made at anytime.
  • Overtime and any additional fees incurred during the course of your event are due at the end of your event, and can be handed to any DJ Eddie Entertainment personnel.
  • All payments are made to DJ Eddie Entertainment. We accept cash, check, credit card, cashiers check or money order. All transactions are at the discretion of DJ Eddie Entertainment.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations or changes must be made no less than seven (7) days prior to the event date. Changes made to services you have already reserved within seven days from your event date may incur additional charges.
  • If you decide to cancel or change a product or service that you have already booked within a package, after the signing of this policy form, you must replace it with another product or service that is of equal or greater value.
  • All deposits are non-refundable. However, deposits may be applied towards another event date that is within one (1) calendar year of the original event date in consideration that the service(s) you had requested are available. Deposits are transferable to third parties.
  • If a dispute arises between DJ Eddie Entertainment and you, you agree to give up your right to have any such dispute decided in a court of law and your right to a jury trial. You agree that such dispute shall be resolved first by attempting non-binding mediation and, if unresolved, by binding arbitration as provided by California law.
